July in Ibiza: fiestas in Es Canar
Next 10th June, the holiday village of Es Canar will be celebrating the festivities of Saint Christopher, who is the patron saint of drivers and travellers. If you’re staying at our hotel on 10th July, we suggest you don’t plan on any outings around the island and instead stay in Es Canar to join the festivities of Sant Cristófol (Saint Christopher in Catalan). You’ll be able to fill your day with food tastings revealing Ibiza’s typical products, folk dances, live music, the traditional cart parade and the displays of handicrafts you will find on the high street of Es Canar from morning until evening.

Other events in Ibiza in July
- Guided walk around Es Canar
On 13th July, join this moderate walk that lasts about 2 hours. It starts at 7 p.m. on the beach of Es Canar and goes along the beautiful coast and inland. There are limited places, so we suggest you book a place at our front desk.
- Folk dances in Santa Eulària des Riu
On 6th and 20th July, you can watch the folk dances called ball pagès by Es Broll in the square of Plaza de España (opposite the town hall).
- Music and handicrafts in Santa Gertrudis
15 Km away from Hotel Ánfora we find this charming village inland that celebrates the Music i Artesans al poble event that includes live music and a handicraft market offering pottery, Ibizan liquors, leather articles, dolls and other items.
- Shows organized at the Palacio de Congresos
Next 20th July, Cambuyón will be bringing us the most tribal rhythms with a music and dance show for all ages. And for more classical tastes, the Moscow Ballet will be visiting the Palacio de Congresos on 30th July with Swan Lake, Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece. You can book your tickets through the website of the Tourism Office of Santa Eulària des Riu.
