Ibiza 2020: The shortest summer
The most unpredictable season in the history of our hotel barely lasted two months and a half. Last 27th September we closed the doors to a summer that had only just started on 10th July, once the country ended the State of Emergency imposed because of the health crisis and once our hotel could guarantee that our guests and our employees would be kept safe by implementing all the recommended measures: disinfecting things that people touch, enabling physical distancing, placing hydroalcoholic gel dispensers, reorganising the buffet service, new safety protocols for suppliers, limiting the number of people allowed in common spaces, digital menus and directories...
A summer with a Spanish accent
The different policies for the prevention and contention of the pandemic followed by different European countries has changed the profile of our regular guests, who in September, for instance, were practically all Spanish. In July and August we were able to welcome many of our regular guests, most of them from the UK and the Netherlands. To all of you who have visited us, new and old, we’d like to convey our heartfelt thanks for your trust in us and Ibiza and to the team of Hotel Ánfora for their amazing work.
