Ibiza in the spring offers visitors lovely weather with mild temperatures that are great for outdoor activities, lunch under the sun or even the first dip into the sea. The average temperatures from April to June rise gradually, day and night: 17ºC max and 11ºC min in April, 23ºC max and 14ºC min in May and 26ºC max and 18ºC min in June.
If you’re not sure what to pack for Ibiza this spring, remember that it might be a good idea to bring a small umbrella in April in case it rains, but for May and June you’ll be wanting to pack your swimming costume and flip-flops. During those months, the island builds up its events calendar and fills with the reopening of restaurant and hotel that join the establishments that remain open all year round. April already brings some of most appealing things to do in Ibiza in spring, such as eating paella on the beach with your feet in the sand, going on one of the many walks or bike rides available on the island, browsing street markets, kayaking and enjoying the first summer parties for clubbers. Browse Punta Arabí street market
Some street markets are open in the winter too, like Las Dalias and Sant Joan, but this hippie market, which is the oldest and biggest in Ibiza, starts setting up its stalls on 6th April, so don’t forget to add it to your trip if you’re on the island on a Wednesday.
Treat your taste buds at the Ibiza Sabors food event
This food event is run from late April to late May, for you to taste local produce through fixed-price special menus that include traditional and modern dishes. A selection of restaurants from all over the island take part in this event, so you’ll be bound to find delicious options to add to the things to do in Ibiza this spring.
Come to the IMS Ibiza Summit Festival
On 29th April, Ibiza city will be welcoming this electronic music event once again. Its programme includes talks and conferences and a fabulous DJ concert offered at the Santa Llucia bastion.
5 things to do in Ibiza in May and June
Fiestas on the First Sunday in May
Declared Fiesta of Cultural Interest, these local festivities are held in Santa Eulària des Riu every year on the first Sunday in May. This year, they will take place on 1st May and you mustn’t miss it if you want to learn about Ibiza’s festive traditions. You can enjoy the ball pagés exhibition, taste typical cakes, admire classic cars and go to a free evening concert sponsored by the town council, among other things.
Run the Ibiza Half-Marathon
This 24K race will be run on 1st May between Sant Josep and the city of Ibiza, crossing some of the most beautiful stretches in the area. If you can’t join the runners, you can always cheer them from the start or finish line.
Have fun at the Eivissa Medieval fair
The streets of La Marina and Dalt Vila districts will once again come alive with minstrels, merchants, publicans and artisans from 12th to 15th May, with the return of the Eivissa Medieval fair. If you’re on the island that weekend, don’t forget to add this to your list of things to do in Ibiza this spring.

Dance and dance at Ibiza Swing Fun Fest
Don your dance shoes from 20th to 22nd May for the 3rd International Festival of Swing and Lindy Hop Music with outdoor and indoor shows at several places in Ibiza and San Antonio. You can take part, watch the dance shows and join free lessons.
Celebrate Ibiza Gay Pride
Theatre, parades, films, talks, exhibitions, shows and parties will make up the vast programme of the Ibiza Gay Pride festival planned for 10th to 18th June in the city of Ibiza. It also includes activities on s’Arenal beach in Sant Antonio and in the auditorium of Caló de s’Oli, next to Cala de Bou.
