What’s new on the table?
Ibiza, the most dynamic Balearic island, always surprises us with new openings every summer. And that’s one of its charms: no matter how many times you've visited the island, you’ll always find something new. Especially if we’re talking about restaurants and beach bars.
BiBo Ibiza
Chef Dani García from Malaga has chosen the luxury hotel Nobu Ibiza Bay, on Talamanca beach in Ibiza, to open his third BiBo restaurant this summer. At his new establishment in Ibiza, you will find a sophisticated and creative menu with hints of some of the most popular dishes from Andalusian cuisine in addition to a selection of new Mexican creations.
Lilau Ibiza
One of the new openings in Ibiza in 2021 is this pleasant restaurant located on the promenade of Santa Eulària des Riu. You will love it! Their dishes and tapas are made with all the local produce at their reach. What does the chef recommend? The ceviche.
Al Ayoun Sunset
This restaurant has only just opened its doors in Sant Antoni and offers the aromatic flavours of Moroccan cuisine and spectacular views of the sunset and the islets of Sa Conillera and S’illa des Bosc. An excellent choice to admire the beauty of Sant Antoni bay any time of the day.
El Corsario Restaurant & Terrace
Chef José Miguel Bonet, head chef of the well-known restaurant Es Ventall, will inject his very own style into the menu of this new restaurant that offers a modern take on Ibizan food. This new project brings back to life one of the iconic spaces on the island: the old El Corsario hotel.
Other restaurants making the headlines in 2021
Wow Ibiza
This restaurant on the road from Sant Rafel to Santa Gertrudis opened last summer but the season was so short-lived that we think of it as brand new. You will find a sophisticated brasserie, a bar to start the evening and a carefully chosen catalogue of fashion and accessories from the famous store concept from Amsterdam, SPRMKRT.
Capricho Ibiza
This gastro pub also opened in 2020, on the beach of Santa Eulària, and offers food made with local produce only. Their carbon footprint is almost zero, as they avoid to use any ingredients from outside the island. Their extensive menu has more than enough treats to suit all tastes and whims.
Restaurants awarded with Soles Repsol
The Repsol road guide has given its distinctive award to three restaurants in Santa Eulària des Riu, only a few minutes’ drive from Hotel Ánfora. They have all received a Sol to acknowledge their varied and top-quality food. The restaurants are Pecador Ibiza, Maymanta and Nagai. The other restaurant in Ibiza included in the Repsol guide is Es Tragón, that boasts two Suns and 1 Michelin Star and stands on the outskirts of Sant Antoni.
Hotel Ánfora: What’s new on the table?
You will also find delicious new dishes on our own menu this summer. Very soon, we will tell you all about Hotel Ánfora’s food proposal for 2021, that this year will also include theme dinners.
