Coming to the market of Las Dalias during your holiday at Hotel Ánfora is dead easy, as it’s only four kilometres away. Don’t forget to include it in your plans to discover this iconic place on the island that took its first steps back in the 70s, when hippies living in the area would come here once a week to sell their crafts. It’s kept going ever since, but it’s now several days a week during the summer months. Whoever you’re with, family, partner or friends, come and see it! You’ll be surprised by the special atmosphere and careful selection of products on its many stalls.
What’s the hippy market of Las Dalias like?
In the summer, this famous hippy market in Ibiza hosts over 200 stalls selling handicrafts, clothes, accessories, costume jewellery, home décor, local food, natural cosmetics, toys and kids’ clothes... You’re bound to find something surprising for yourself or as a gift! The stalls are divided into three areas: one outdoors, by the main entrance; the main and oldest area that goes from the entrance and along three sloping terraces; and the third and largest where the stalls are arranged around an open-air space. All three areas have several places to eat and rest, like Las Dalias café, open all year round.

When to go to Las Dalias: times and days
Las Dalias Ibiza market is every Saturday throughout the year, but it’s set up more days in the summer. There’s quite a difference between the off-peak season and the peak season, as there are fewer stalls in the winter (although it’s still worth going to) and it opens at night too during the peak season. If you want to go when there’s the most stalls at Las Dalias, then go on a Saturday. If you prefer to spend that day on the beach, then go at night on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday.
Peak season (June - September)
Saturday: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays: 7 p.m. to 12.30 a.m.
Rest of the year
Saturdays: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

How to get to the hippy market of Las Dalias
From Hotel Ánfora, the most convenient option is going by taxi or rental car as it takes around 5 minutes. If you’d like to go on a Saturday and you enjoy bike touring, you can rent a bike for your holidays and come over to the market on Saturday morning following the number 3 bike touring route that starts in Es Canar.
Where to eat near the hippy market of Las Dalias
Inside the market, you’ll find several places for lunch or supper apart from Las Dalias café-restaurant. But if you’d rather eat nearby before or after your visit, the village of Sant Carles has interesting options, like for instance, the iconic Ca n’Anneta, the Es Mirador restaurant with a beautiful view of the valley, or San Carlos for grilled food. Other options that are only about 5 minutes’ drive from this market are Can Toni Mariano, Ca n’Pep (Cala Llenya), Ca’s Pagès and Casa Kica.

What to see near Las Dalias
This market is on the outskirts of Sant Carles, a typical Ibizan inland village that has several places of interest if you’re keen to discover the island’s traditional architecture: the church of Sant Carles, the fountain of Peralta (font de Peralta) and the house museum Ca Andreu des Trull, with one of the few oil presses left in Ibiza. And if you’d like to add more cultural visits, it’s only 6km to the tower d’en Valls, one of the 7 watchtowers left standing on the Ibizan coast.
