The year’s event: 25th anniversary of Ibiza being declared World Heritage
Throughout 2024, Ibiza will be celebrating its 25th anniversary since it made UNESCO’s list of Word Heritage sites under the title: Ibiza, biodiversity and culture. This recognition highlighted the value of these sites on the island: the citadel of Ibiza (Dalt Vila), the Phoenician dig of Sa Caleta, the Phoenician-Punic Necropolis of Puig des Molins and the posidonia oceanica meadows that stretch from Ibiza to Formentera. When you visit the island on your next holiday, check the events calendar of Ibiza.travel to discover the activities and events planned in honour of this special anniversary.
