Sports events in Ibiza in April
During the fourth month of the year, Ibiza (including Santa Eulària des Riu) will be hosting several scored events and competitions that are a great reason to hop over to the White Island. An appealing excuse to visit the island in April with its mild temperatures of up to 17ºC, which is ideal for competitions and sports.
Ibiza Half-Marathon
On 5th April, this marathon endorsed by the Spanish Royal Federation of Athletics (RFEA) will be kicking off the sports calendar for the month. Setting off at 6pm, this 21K race starts from the village of Sant Josep and ends in the island’s capital. The Ibiza Half-Marathon is included in the Spanish national calendar rated as International I category.

Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon
Next 12th April is the Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon, the most popular and massive sports event on the island that brings in more and more runners every year. It’s an afternoon event and starts at the old harbour in the city of Ibiza and ends at the Santa Eulària des Riu promenade. This is the biggest race on the island and it’s divided into two races: 22k and 12k.

Open Water Swimming World Cup 2025
Santa Eulària des Riu will host the second phase of this well-known sports competition organised by World Aquatics, which will bring together the best open water swimmers worldwide on 25th and 26th April. A very special event that once again will place Santa Eulària des Riu and Ibiza on the international sports map.
