The island of Ibiza has been considered an popular tourism destination in the Mediterranean since the 30s, when its singularity began to attract intellectuals and artists from central and northern Europe. Since then, millions of travellers from the most diverse corners of the world have chosen our island to enjoy their holidays in the style that best suits them: bohemian, clubbing, family, foodie, sailing, gay, intimate, romantic, cultural... Because there are many sides to Ibiza and you hear many languages, that is what makes this island so fascinating.

Our newly renovated four-star hotel in Es Canar receives an increasingly diverse and cosmopolitan clientele. This summer, we have welcomed guests from Britain, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Australia, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Austria, Poland, Portugal and even a few from the Czech Republic, Romania, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Nigeria, United States, Ukraine, Greece, Israel and Russia. A broad diversity of guests that is very exciting for Hotel Ánfora’s team and for travellers who enjoy a cosmopolitan atmosphere.

Es Canar and its surrounding area, the Ibiza for (practically) all travellers

The excellent location of the village of Es Canar, only a few kilometres away from the main places of interest in Ibiza, make it the perfect destination for most travellers. Those who choose to stay in Es Canar during their holidays will find the hippy market of Punta Arabí, the hippy market of Las Dalias, the villages of Santa Eulària des Riu, Sant Carles, Santa Gertrudis, the city of Ibiza and its nightlife (20 minutes’ drive), the Nikki Beach beach bar, activities for kids and teenagers -such as the Acrobosc Adventure Park-, water sports... The only travellers who may prefer other areas in Ibiza are the electronic-music fans, as the main clubs on the island are near d’en Bossa Beach and San Antonio, except for Pacha that is between the city of Ibiza and Talamanca beach.
