Hotel Anfora: committed to quality and sustainability year after year
The end of season has brought our team one of the year’s greatest joys: the satisfaction rating given by our guests through anonymous surveys where they score different aspects related to their stay.
By the end of the 2025 season, Hotel Anfora had received from its guests a global rating of 92.8% satisfaction, having grown over the year in the area of sustainability, with 90.6% of appreciation for our practices and work.
Our sustainable successes in 2025
Like every year, we want to share the improvements made in sustainability, which add to those already made during previous seasons. Climate change is a reality and Hotel Anfora is aware of the limited capacity of resources, especially in such a delicate environment like Ibiza.
We believe that we can contribute to protecting our environment with small gestures, by the staff, who is more and more engaged, and by our guests suppliers too. Below are our successes and improvements made over the past months:
- Once again, we earned the quality seals for the ISO 9001 standard (earned since 2010) and the ISO 14001 standard (since 2024)
- We cut down gas and fuel consumption by installing 32 new solar panels.
- We managed to reuse approximately 20% of water by filtering wastewater through reverse osmosis. This is how we’ve not only achieved our goal to cut down water consumption below 250 litres per person and day but actually did better by cutting it down under 236 litres per person and day.
- We fitted presence taps and lights in the terrace toilets.
- We informed guests on how to save water and power with small daily gestures.
- We reduced food waste at dinners by discarding the buffet model and offering table service instead while also increasing our local produce offer and guest satisfaction.
