The benefits of renting a car in Ibiza
The island is the perfect size to explore it during the holidays, whether you're over for the weekend or for longer. The longest distance from one end to another is just over 45 kilometres and most of the distances between Es Canar and the most popular places in the south, west and north are a 20-minute drive on average. Renting a car in Ibiza gives you the freedom to go wherever you like and explore beautiful spots with no public transport, such as Cala d’Hort, Cala d’en Serra, Es Cubells, Cala Jondal, Sant Llorenç de Balàfia, the valleys of Santa Agnès and Sant Mateu, Aigües Blanques beach...

The 3 routes that will reveal Ibiza
Depending on the number of days booked with our hotel+car+Ibiza package, you can explore the main points of interest in Ibiza or, if you’ll be staying for less than three days, some of the most famous ones. Here are four routes to make sure you don’t miss any must-sees:
1. Route around the north of Ibiza
You will love the northern part of the island for its unspoilt spots and secluded coves. Setting out from Es Canar, head towards Sant Carles de Peralta, Aigües Blanques beach, Cala de Sant Vicent (have an ice-cream at Beach & Cream and climb up to the church of Sant Vicent de sa Cala), Sant Joan, Benirrás, Sant Miquel de Balansat (stop for a glass of liquor or hierbas ibicencas at Can Xicu) and Sant Llorenç de Balàfia.
2. Route around the west of Ibiza
Here you’ll find some of the most picturesque beaches and coves on the island. Be ready to fill your phone with spectacular selfies! The route here would be Es Canar – Santa Gertrudis – Sant Mateu – Santa Agnès - Cala Salada – Cala Bassa - Platges de Comte (book a table at the S’illa des Bosc restaurant) – Cala Vedella and Cala Molí. And for the sunset, go to Caló des Moro and enjoy its terraces.
3. Route around the south of Ibiza
The perfect route if you fancy a day of beach and paella. This southbound route calls for the following stops: the church of Sant Jordi, the beach of Ses Salines and the Nature Reserve of Ses Salines, Cala des Jondal, Es Cubells and Cala d´Hort, where you can eat delicious paellas and rice dishes at El Carmen, Cala d´Hort or Es Boldadó -the latter is reached by the road that comes from Cala Vedalla.
